Used a number of yellow 3.5" blocks that were left over from other projects and used a particularly vibrant red and yellow fabric for blocks, border and backing.
My design process has always been driven by using whatever I had available, but with no fabric stores around, this has become even more important. When I find fabric that two yards or more, I will buy it, no matter what the color or pattern is!
