Hearts

I wanted to do hearts, and this was based on a 2 and a half inch square, so it should have come together more easily. It's okay, but not my favorite. It was so wide, I had to piece the back. 

Going to a friend of my daughter's who had a little girl after having three boys! 

 

Twin quilts

Managed to get the tops done for the twins. 

All of the blocks are from the same 15 prints, and the borders with white backgrounds are sort of the same. I hope this prevents squabbling. 

Hoping to quilt this weekend!

Postscript 2026

Our school secretary has a new grandson, so I needed a quilt for her. This was made from blocks left over from a quilt I did probably in 2010 that my friend recently quilted for me. The back of this is baseball caps and flags that I got at the thrift store-- perfect for a Sestercentennial quilt. 

I have a new neighbor with five months old twin girls, so I might have to run up two more this fall. Cuts into my reading time, but since I have my book blog ready to go until mid-January, I think I have some time.
